ParentsWelcome Parents! We are glad that your son is interested in joining Phi Kappa Psi. Because the University of Minnesota is such a large community, it is always nice to have close friends at hand. The greek system, and Phi Kappa Psi can provide this, and much more for your son. Phi Kappa Psi teaches leadership and experience that you cannot find in a classroom. Your son can take up different roles of leadership within the chapter that he can use after graduating college. Phi Kappa Psi can offer much more than just experience for your son, it can also offer opportunity. Our fraternity teaches you to network with other people to help advance yourself in life. We often meet with prominent alumni, not only from Minnesota, but from all around the country. We have many different leadership academies in which prominent alumni interact directly with brothers, to teach them life skills. Beyond networking Phi Kappa Psi has the largest endowment fund of all Fraternities. This means that we can offer a broad range of scholarships. The Minnesota Beta Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi is working to give all brothers a scholarship. The time Phi Kappa Psi takes out of your sons schedule depends on how involved your son wants to become in the Fraternity. The more involved he becomes, the better he learns to balance schoolwork, social activities, and the Fraternity. We welcome you to take a look through our webpage, and we offer other resources for you to learn about Phi Kappa Psi; such as movies and pamphlets. If you have any questions, please call us at (612) 331-7448 or send us an email here. Thank you for you and your sons interest, we hope to see you on parents day!
